“While all my figures are hand built porcelain, a strong element of my storytelling is the vintage found object. I come from a long line of pack-rats. My ancestors were farmers and nothing was thrown away that could be repurposed. As a child I would spend hours digging through my dad’s « treasures » and reinventing them into something new. It is not surprising that these elements became another narrative piece of my work. »
